Submitting a request does not verify that a contribution was received and is not itself a receipt or acknowledgment. We issue or correct an acknowledgment only after matching the request against available congregation or payment-provider records. We may contact you for clarification, and we may decline to act on a request that cannot be verified.

An acknowledgment reports the congregation’s records; it does not determine whether a payment is deductible. Keep your own payment records and consult a qualified tax adviser about your circumstances. Contact us before sending a non-cash or other special contribution so we can determine whether it can be accepted.
